Campbell Hall is seeking a detail-oriented Fiscal Clerk to join our Fiscal Department on a full-time basis. In this role, you'll ensure accurate records, timely processing, and smooth day-to-day administrative support for our skilled nursing and long-term care facility.

As a Fiscal Clerk, you'll work at the intersection of patient care and business operations. While our clinical teams focus on resident care, your work— processing payments, maintaining records, and supporting billing—keeps our facility running smoothly and ensures we can continue investing in quality care and services for our residents.

What you'll do

  • Process accounts receivable transactions, including payment posting, and resident fund transactions.
  • Maintain organized financial records and filing systems, both digital and paper, ensuring compliance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Assist with billing inquiries and follow-ups, communicating with insurance companies, residents, and families as needed
  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements for accuracy and completeness
  • Support administration with clerical functions.
  • Respond to routine fiscal inquiries from staff, residents, and families with professionalism and clarity
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather information needed for financial reviews
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and resident information at all times

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of fiscal, accounting, or administrative experience (healthcare experience preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and comfort learning new software systems
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information responsibly
  • Reliable attendance and full-time availability
  • Passing background check (BCI clearance) and NYS Health Commerce fingerprint clearance
  • TB/PPD test or documentation of immunity
